Coffee-Shop
It's tough to "catch up" with an old friend if her cell phone keeps ringing. We meet for a quick coffee. I drink tea.
"I have to buy shorts," she said. "You want to go shopping?"
Whoopee, a shopping party!
Uh, no. I hate to shop for myself so why would I want to go with someone else.
The lines, and the clothes that never fit right even if I do buy them. I end up returning everything and wearing old sweats that are just too comfortable not to wear. This is why I have no decent clothes.
I shop for the kids.
Harried mom speed shopping: Zip, zip, pile up the cart! Quick ten minutes to buy them spring and summer clothes.
In and out, done.
